Purpose Brings Peacefulness

Purpose Brings Peacefulness

It wasn’t until I fully accepted that depression and anxiety was only a part of me that my purpose became clear.  Most importantly, that purpose brings peacefulness.

Many times, individuals with mental health disorders allow their illnesses to define them.  Their illnesses take over their lives and snuff out their beauty within.  How do I know this?  For years, I too got caught up in the same thought process.

For the longest time, I wondered what purpose my diagnoses of depression and anxiety had in my life.

Discovering My Purpose Brings Peacefulness

I finally accepted that these diagnoses as only a part of me. Additionally, I let the light shine on my other unique characteristics. Moreover, I found my life purpose.  After a lot of soul searching, it became apparent I was to provide hope and inspiration to others traveling the same journey.  Once I began sharing my gifts, my life became enriched in ways I could never have imagined.

I no longer question why I had to experience the depths of depression and anxiety. Why?  Because it provided my life purpose.  People who can make that statement know a peacefulness of heart and spirit that many others never reach.  I encourage you to get in touch with yourself to find your purpose. I promise your life will never be the same.
