Courageous Recovery at the Humor Conference

One of the hazards of mental health advocacy is the possibility of burnout. After a whirlwind of speaking engagements in May for Mental Health Month, Carol decided it was time to recharge.

On the website for The Humor Project, it says

Steve Martin recently observed, “Even in tough times, you can afford to laugh.”

So, Carol decided to attend the Humor Project’s 55th International Conference at Silver Bay Conference Center in Lake George, New York. The theme of the conference was “Survive and Thrive,” and she spent several delightful days at this conference being rejuvenated in mind, body and spirit.
